I was asked this question by a customer yesterday, and I'm delighted to report that the answer is 'yes!' - possibly the fastest ever support update I can remember:
The system requirements documents for Lotus Quickr include this information. For your convenience, the Lotus Quickr and Lotus Domino version information is summarized in the table below.Great news - if you're running Quickr 8.2 go ahead and upgrade to the latest, greatest, Domino release. If you're still on 8.1, now is probably the time to get yourself to 8.2. If you need some help completing the upgrade, contact your friendly IBM partner and they can help...

Hi Stuart,
congratulations for your blog it´s very helpful
can you tell me what´s the difference betwen
-Lotus Domino 8.5 Fix Pack 1
-Lotus Domino 8.5.1
I have Lotus Domino 8.5 and I'm going to upgrade whith:
IBM Lotus Domino Server 8.5 Fix Pack 1 for Windows 2003 English(CZ344EN). This is the latest version?
Many thanks
I'm running Domino 8.5.1 32-bit with Quickr 8.2 32-bit on Windows 2003 R2 64-bit.
Could I use also Domino 8.5.1 64-bit with Quickr 8.2 32-bit (I assume there is no Quickr 8.2 64-bit).
@3: Mika, neither Win 2003 64-bit nor Domino 64-bit are currently supported with Quickr 8.2 (Domino) and I strongly recommend not to use it.
Thanks for the questions, and for the response Michael.
@Adam, this is ready to go now.
@Fernando, Domino 8.5 FP1 is just that, 8.5 plus a number of fixes for issues. 8.5.1 on the other hand brings in lots of fixes plus many new features such as iPhone Traveler support, enhanced Domino Designer and much more. See this link: { Link }
I would skip 8.5FP1 and go straight to 8.5.1 if I was you. Download it from Passport Advantage.
The only 2 versions of Domino listed are
Lotus Domino 8.5
Lotus Domino 8.5 Fix Pack 1
NO 8.5.1. Perhaps some issues were discovered and IBM decided to play it safe.....
