If you run Quickr services for Domino in your organisation, then you should know all about the free open-source Quickr templates from SNAPPS.  They've been around since Lotus Quickr 8.0 was released 18 months ago, and offer great functionality plus the ability to be incorporate some of their features into your own applications.

Today Rob Novak announced that the templates have been upgraded to run in Quickr 8.1.0.3, plus SNAPPS now offers full paid support for the templates if you need it:

Pleased to announce that somewhat quietly (because of travel...!) SNAPPS has updated the QuickrTemplates.com site with new documentation and updates to almost all of the templates.  Some highlights:

1. All templates are tested with Quickr 8.1.0.3
2. Minor fixes for QPresent, QIssues, QMeeting and QProject - hence also for QSite
3. Longstanding bug fix for QContacts! External contacts remain intact when nightly agent runs to refresh data
Even better, the Quickr Templates site has received a gorgeous makeover, courtesy of SNAPPS new employee, Julian "Taking Notes" Robichaux:
In addition to the new postings, Julian designed a beautiful new site for the templates including a blog, library, and options for support....
Here's how the new site looks:

1) Do you know anything about FP8104?
Larry Cannon 12/22/2008 17:20:29

FP8104 for Domino Quickr 8.1.0 was out on Fix Central last week. We downloaded and installed it, have hit some problems, and now it's gone from Fix Central. Can you (or anybody) let us know what it going on? Were big problems found in it? Did Lotus pull it because of these problems? Should we back it off (which we probably will do anyway). I can't seem to find any info on it now. Thanks.

2) Sorry

No, sorry, haven't even heard about 8.1.0.4 until you mentioned it here and on the Forum.

Sounds as though backing out to 8.1.0.3 would be a good plan.

3) You should NOT install 8104
Michael Urspringer 12/29/2008 13:19:50

@Larry: 8104 was withdrawn due to some problems. You should not install it and if you already did so (and came from 8103) you should contact IBM Support for more help.

4) Thanks

Thanks Michael - appreciate the update.
