Have you trained your users on Quickr 8.0, and are now in the process of upgrading to 8.1? Or maybe you have written documentation that relates to the use of the Quickr connector?
If so, then you may wish to take this minor change into account:
Problem
After your administrator upgrades your Lotus Quickr environment, including the Connectors, to version 8.1, you cannot find the Lotus Quickr options in the File menu in your Lotus Notes client.
Resolving the problem
The Notes menu items are in a different location in the new version of the Connector.
Lotus Quickr 8.0.0.2 has the options "Insert Lotus Quickr Link" and "Lotus Quickr Preferences" under the File menu.
Lotus Quickr 8.1 has the options "Insert Lotus Quickr Link" and "Lotus Quickr Preferences" in the Actions menu.

1) Not entirely accurate
This technote isn't entirely accurate. I'm going to try and get it fixed. Where the menus appear is entirely dependent on your version of Notes. If you still run 7.0.x, the menus will be where they always were. If you run Notes 8.0, they should be under the actions menu. If you run Notes 8.0.1+, there will be menus under File, Lotus Quickr and Tools

@1 I think that makes sense. Not much consistency though ;-)
