Sometimes it's easiest to describe a concept or technology using images rather than words. That definitely applies to the Connectors that are an integral part of Lotus Quickr.
This section of the Lotus Quickr product pages does this rather well, and has been recently updated:
Connectors - Simple integration right into your favorite applicationsIt then lists many of the common usage scenarios for the Connectors and has a screenshot for each, including hi-res versions for using in your own reports or presentations.
IBM Lotus Quickr connectors are the "secret sauce" that is generating tremendous excitement from our customers and Business Partners.
Using Lotus Quickr connectors for popular business applications, you can access content and collaborate from where you are without switching applications.
With a simple click, you can move a Lotus Notes or Microsoft Outlook attachment to a Lotus Quickr library and send a link instead of large e-mail files. Plus, your recipient is assured of getting the most recent version instead of the stale version attached to an old e-mail.
Lotus Sametime users can exchange links to Lotus Quickr content and collaborate right from a chat. Microsoft Office and IBM Lotus Symphony users can just easily check documents in and out of the Lotus Quickr content libraries and more!
A good one to add to your bookmarks for later use.

2 Questions about Quickr
1. Can we use quickr when I am sending a mail to recipients outside my network with quickr links? Does Quickr work in this case?
2. If I use mail locally and have moved some attachments to quickr site, how do I access it?
