As outlined in the announcement letter, IBM Lotus Quickr 8.2 contains a host of new features in this Domino-based release. In addition to overall performance improvements, we talk about the new simplified editing, improved integration with IBM Lotus Connections as well as support for Lotus Domino 8.5 DAOS (Domino attachment and object service) to enable storage of attachments in the file system.

1) It’s worth a listen
I recommend listening to this, very interesting in terms of the focus on improving performance / stability + how they used a very focused beta program to ensure it was tested thoroughly.
Some really good improvements around scaling, folder depth issue resolved, policies for connectors etc.
I just wish they had a tick box option to automatically DAOS enable all new places. (although as a DB property I wonder if fiddling with the templates would do this... leaves to investigate).
